Coyol Free Zone’s Covid-relief strategy was recently recognized by the inaugural Economic Zones Sustainable Recovery Strategies Awards
The Covid-19 pandemic has forced Free Zones worldwide to adapt and innovate in order to attract new investment and retain existing business, whilst putting in place policies geared towards recovery and resilience.
Coyol Free Zone has managed to grow in such circumstances, creating more than new 1,500 positions during the year 2020 and devising creative ways for its client’s companies to fight the Covid-19, train their staff, and continue to attract talent through the advantages offered by virtuality.
The Park has also been an ally for the public health institutions in their race for vaccinating most of the population, when the country is struggling with new Covid-19 variants that threaten the local sanitary system. This effort is also guided toward the public health’s personnel, which is suffering from marathonic labor journeys, stress, and many illnesses.
