With an industrial park made up of 34 companies, Coyol Free Zone is positioned as one of the most important sources of direct employment in the Medical Device sector in Costa Rica, accounting for 41.75% of the jobs that this industry provides at the national level. 

With a solid 18-year track record, as of December 31, 2024, this Park had accounted for 24,588 of the 58,884 highly specialized labor sources offered by this sector in the country, according to data from the Foreign Trade Promotion Agency (PROCOMER) as of the same date. 

In addition, there are 5,000 indirect jobs of subcontractors working full time in companies linked to original equipment manufacturing (OEM), as well as suppliers, packaging and logistics companies, as well as companies involved in sterilization, parts and components, among others.

This significant employment generation is accompanied by high labor productivity, which is 2.9 times the national average (1.9 times the national productivity).
