Philips Costa Rica marked a milestone in Costa Rica and Coyol Free Zone by recently becoming the first company in the country to be rated Gold by LEED for Building Operations and Management Standards in medical industry buildings.

The process of obtaining this certification required applying a technical vision of sustainability standards and ensuring compliance with the requirements of LEED and the US Green Building Council through their governing bodies in the area.
