With this latest expansion, it strengthens its position in a specialized and 100% Costa Rican park, where it will also shortly double its payroll by employing operational and engineering personnel.

Francisco Sancho, SMC Costa Rica’s General Manager, pointed out, “With this expansion, we strengthen our commitment to the country, our people, and our clients. Costa Rica creates an excellent environment for us to operate, grow and develop with two fundamental elements: the skilled workforce that it has provided us over the years and the country’s support as part of the medical industry,” he concluded.

Currently, SMC Ltd. generates employment for 200 employees, and hopes to continue contributing to the local economy with quality employment opportunities.
