The company will build its new plant in Coyol Free Zone during 2020

Coyol Free Zone continues its growth and in 2020 will welcome the operation of Teradyne, Inc., with an investment of more than US $20 million in its new facility.

Its new plant will have an extension of 11,000 square meters (118,000 SqFt) and initially will give a home to the 350 employees that currently sit in multiple sites throughout Costa Rica. In the future, Teradyne will have an expansion, therefore, creating new opportunities for local employment.

In 2000, Teradyne established its service center in Costa Rica, and the new site in Coyol Free Zone will be completed by July 2021.

Teradyne’s Costa Rica operation supports customers worldwide with new hardware and software engineering solutions as well as for existing products. Also, this operation gives shared services for, IT, finance and administrative works.
