October 2023. Coyol Free Zone shines in the eyes of the world when it comes to attracting Foreign Direct Investment (FDI). This is confirmed by the most recent award granted by fDi Intelligence, a division specialized in foreign investment of the Financial Times.
This magazine, recognized worldwide for providing in-depth information and analysis of the global corporate investment climate, awarded the Costa Rican Free Trade Zone as the Best Free Trade Zone in the Americas and Best Free Trade Zone in the Americas in the Industrial Category.
This 2023 is the third consecutive year that Coyol Free Zone receives this recognition in response to the process of attracting investment and reinvestment in the park, its high value-added exports (responsible for 52% of the country’s exports of medical devices and precision equipment), the productive linkages with local companies that it generates, and the constant creation of employment opportunities in the country.
“At Coyol Free Zone, we are extremely honored to be awarded for the third consecutive year as the Best Free Zone in the Americas as well as champions in the Industrial Category for the Americas. At the Park we incorporate the highest standards throughout our operation, constantly innovating to create the ideal conditions that have allowed many of the leading companies in the Life Sciences industry to discover the talent Costa Rica has to offer, and become part of a unique ecosystem that fosters growth and high-impact solutions”. Carlos Wong, Managing Director of Coyol Free Zone.
