The Top Free Zones 2019 ranking by the international magazine Site Selection named Coyol Free Zone as the best free zone in Latin America and the Caribbean for the third consecutive year.

The publication emphasizes the location, world-class infrastructure of the free zone and its essential services for the operations of Life Science companies, such as underground connection to the El Coyol electrical substation, guaranteeing an almost absolute decrease in interference, high water quality and telecommunications services, the turn-key construction services and its environmental and social commitment.

“Coyol Free Zone’s investment exceeds $400 million and demonstrates our commitment to promote sustainable exports of millions of medical devices from Costa Rica to the rest of the world. These distinctions also reflect a great dedication to create a free zone known for its innovation, specialization, and preparation of its 15.000 employees”, said Carlos Wong, CEO of Coyol Free Zone.

The magazine annually surveys its audience of a global community of consultants and corporate investors, who analyze the most important free zones by region based on their experience and operations around the world.
