November. Coyol Free Zone, the specialized Life Sciences industry Park in Costa Rica, celebrates the opening of the global operations of Nevro Corp. (NYSE: NVRO), with a 35,000 square foot facility. Nevro expects to invest approximately US$21 million by the end of 2022 to support future growth initiatives.

Thus, the Park reaches 30 operating companies (Bayer will be #31), 7 of them part of the Top 30 medical device companies worldwide. According to Nevro Corp., the decision to start operations in Costa Rica, and specifically in Coyol Free Zone, is based on the capacity of the human talent and the positive business climate.

From its new facilities, Nevro Corp. will manufacture its proprietary high frequency spinal cord stimulation systems for the treatment of chronic pain, including its recently launched HFX product platform.
